Nor.Sor.3 Gor (NS3G)

Definition

A recognized title of possession, one tier below Chanote. NS3G is derived from aerial cadastral surveys without on-site GPS measurement — physical boundary markers may not correspond exactly to the registered plan. An NS3G can be upgraded to Chanote following cadastral verification (process taking 6 to 18 months). In the interim, NS3G permits sale and mortgage but carries exposure to boundary disputes. It is advisable to prioritize NS3G properties that have a Chanote-titled neighbor to facilitate future upgrade.
