Yellow residence booklet reserved for foreigners legally residing in Thailand, equivalent to the Blue Book (Tabien Baan Fah) for Thai nationals. The Yellow Book is issued by the municipality (Tessabaan) upon presentation of the Chanote (if owner) or registered lease agreement plus owner authorization. It serves as proof of address for opening a bank account, obtaining a Thai driving license, and applying for the Pink ID card. Processing time ranges from 4 to 12 weeks depending on the municipality.
