Pink identity card reserved for foreign nationals holding a valid Yellow House Book. Issued by the Department of Provincial Administration, it facilitates daily life in Thailand by serving as proof of identity accepted by banks, hospitals, hotels, and other establishments without requiring presentation of a passport. The Pink ID is not mandatory but strongly recommended for long-term residents. Processing time is 4 to 8 weeks following acquisition of the Yellow House Book.
