Property Management (PM)

Definition

Complete management of a rental property on behalf of the owner: tenant sourcing, lease agreement, rent collection, cleaning, maintenance, tax handling, and reporting. In Thailand, PM fees are typically charged as a percentage of rent (8–15%) or as a fixed monthly fee (5,000–10,000 THB). For a non-resident French-speaking owner, PM is nearly essential for managing unforeseen issues (defaulting tenant, water leaks, air-conditioning failure) from a distance.
