LTR Visa: the new benchmark

The LTR (Long-Term Resident) Visa runs for 10 years (5 + 5), with favourable tax treatment and a built-in work permit. Four categories: Wealthy Global Citizens, Wealthy Pensioners, Work-from-Thailand Professionals and Highly Skilled Professionals.

Wealthy Pensioners

Non-Immigrant O-A

The classic retirement visa: one year, renewable, with THB 800,000 held in a Thai bank account or THB 65,000 per month of documented pension income.

Smart Visa

For startups, tech talent and investors (THB 20 million or more). Four years, renewable.
