Chumphon

Mueang Chumphon is the provincial capital district and the practical heart of the local property market, blending an affordable inland town centre with a quiet coastal strip at Pak Nam and Sai Ri. Most listings are detached houses, townhouses and shophouses aimed at Thai families, plus modest land plots within easy reach of the railway station, hospitals and Ocean mall. Foreign buyers are rare and typically take long leasehold of land or houses, or buy a condo unit within the 49% foreign quota where small developments exist. Prices are among the lowest of any Gulf coast district, making it attractive for budget retirees and remote workers who value calm over nightlife.
